Now hiring: we are hiring an overlocker operator in Kent County, Maryland. The job is in a sampling and tailoring workshop. What we are looking for: • ITI / tailoring certificate is a plus • Can hit the daily piece-rate target consistently • Comfortable working long hours seated at a fast line The role involves topstitch and edge-stitch with the correct margin for a clean finish; meet the hourly piece-rate target without dropping quality; operate single-needle lockstitch, overlock and flatlock machines on a production line; stitch seams, hems, side seams and shoulder joins to the marked seam allowance; inspect each piece for skipped stitches, broken thread and needle holes; trim loose threads, clip curves and notch corners as you go.
