Backhoe operator wanted in Norton County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a backhoe operator in Norton County, Kansas. You will be based on a busy civils and groundworks site. Requirements: • Physically fit for long hours in the cab on outdoor sites • Sound understanding of daily maintenance and greasing • Confident working to fine grade and tight tolerances Day to day you will keep the cab clean and oil-free and report defects promptly; work to laser, GPS or 2D/3D machine-control guidance; grade, level and batter slopes to the required gradient; dig foundation trenches and footings to the marked depths and levels; carry out daily greasing and check hydraulic oil, coolant and fuel levels; load spoil into tippers and dumpers cleanly without spillage. Full-time, day shift. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Pay around $3,300 per month, based on your experience. Walk-in interviews this week.
