Horizontal milling machine operator — Hodgeman County

Now hiring: we are hiring a horizontal milling machine operator in Hodgeman County, Kansas. The role involves: • Monitor tool wear and change blunt inserts and cutters • Load and edit CNC programs (G-code) at the Fanuc/Siemens control • Hold close tolerances down to ±0.02 mm • Set tool offsets and the work zero (G54) using an edge finder or probe • Apply cutting coolant and clear swarf from the machine bed • Read engineering drawings and GD&T to plan the machining sequence What we are looking for: • Safety conscious and comfortable wearing PPE around moving machinery • ITI/NCVT certificate in machinist or turner trade • 2-3 years' hands-on milling experience 2+ years on the tools preferred.
