Power float operator — Alexander County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a power float operator in Alexander County, Illinois. You will work at a precast concrete yard. What we are looking for: • Comfortable working at heights and on scaffolds • Able to read structural drawings and bar bending schedules The role involves strip and clean formwork once the concrete has gained strength; mix concrete to the specified grade (M15, M20, M25) by hand or in a mixer; lay PCC blinding and the damp-proof membrane over the prepared subgrade; compact fresh concrete with immersion poker vibrators to clear honeycombing.
