Immediate opening: we are hiring an escalator technician in Edgar County, Illinois. Ideal candidate: • Willing to join the on-call/emergency breakdown rota • Good head for heights for pit and car-top work On a typical shift you will test buffers, final limit switches and the emergency brake; mount and align landing doors, sills and car door operators; wire up the controller, encoder and limit switches; respond to entrapment call-outs and release trapped passengers.
