Now hiring: we are hiring a crane operator in Nevada County, Arkansas. The job is in an open-cast mine. You should have: • Comfortable working long shifts in dust, heat and noise • Understanding of safe digging near underground services Your main tasks: • Load and unload the machine on and off the low-loader safely • Level and grade the road sub-base to the surveyor's pegs and string lines • Carry out daily pre-start checks on engine oil, coolant, hydraulic fluid and track tension • Excavate trenches and foundations to the marked depths and grade levels $29 per hour, negotiable for the right hands.
