Now hiring: we are hiring a falsework carpenter in Nome Census Area, Alaska. On a typical shift you will seal panel joints and hold the correct concrete cover to prevent grout loss; repair damaged plywood and timber shutters; de-nail, clean and stack the panels for reuse; check alignment with spirit level, plumb bob and string line; box out openings for doors, windows and service penetrations; watch the formwork during concreting and tighten up any movement. You should have: • Hands-on with timber, plywood and system formwork • 2+ years on RCC and formwork on building or infrastructure sites 2+ years on the tools preferred. Full-time, day shift.
