Head baker — Boone County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a head baker in Boone County, Indiana. You will be based at an in-store supermarket bakery. Ideal candidate: • Knowledge of dough fermentation and proving • 2+ years' experience as a baker • Food handler / hygiene certificate The role involves rotate stock and follow FIFO on raw materials; shape loaves, rolls, baguettes and buns by hand; prove dough in the proofer at the right temperature and humidity; knead and develop dough by hand and in the spiral mixer; grease and clean baking trays, tins and moulds.
