Immediate opening: we are hiring a confectioner in Berkeley County, South Carolina. You will be based at a busy bakery. Your main tasks: • Shape loaves, rolls, baguettes and buns by hand • Laminate puff and croissant dough by folding in the butter • Score the top of loaves before baking • Decorate cakes with icing, fondant and fresh cream Requirements: • 2+ years' experience as a baker • Able to stand for long hours in a hot kitchen • Understanding of food-safety and HACCP basics Full-time, day shift. Pay around $3,500 per month, based on your experience. Walk-in interviews this week.
