Join our team: we are hiring a gang bricklayer in Lee County, Arkansas. The job is at a renovation and extension job. Requirements: • NVQ Level 2 in Bricklaying an advantage • Able to read construction drawings and setting-out marks The role involves building the corners (leads) first and racking back the courses; raking out and tooling the joints to a struck or bucket-handle finish; checking every course for height and level with a gauge rod; brushing the wall down and removing mortar snots as you go; erecting and working off trestles and scaffold lifts. Six days a week, one day off. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Walk-in interviews this week.
