Requirements: • Comfortable welding mild steel, stainless and aluminium • Able to pass a 3G/4G plate test On a typical shift you will set the shielding-gas flow on the CO2/argon-mix regulator; change worn contact tips and gas nozzles on the torch; load ER70S-6 wire spools and check the drive rolls; control distortion with a balanced welding sequence; clear spatter and slag, then wire-brush the finished bead.
