Rigging foreman • Brunswick County, Virginia

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a rigging foreman in Brunswick County, Virginia. You will be based at a shipyard. The role involves rig and lift structural steel, precast panels and machinery into position; establish exclusion zones and keep workers clear of the lift area; inspect slings, shackles and eyebolts for wear, kinks and cracks before each use; carry out daily checks on cranes, hoists and lifting tackle; take part in toolbox talks and pre-lift briefings. Requirements: • Willing to work shifts, weekends and outdoors in all weather • Valid rigging / lifting certificate or banksman-slinger ticket • Able to inspect and reject defective lifting gear At least 4 year(s) in a similar role.
