We are recruiting: we are hiring a ceiling and wall plasterer in Glasscock County, Texas. You will be based at a plastering and dry lining contractor. Requirements: • Good head for heights for ceiling and stairwell work • Own set of trowels, floats, hawk and buckets • Able to read drawings and set out work to a deadline Day to day you will dub out hollows and uneven areas before skimming; skim plasterboard to a smooth finish ready for decoration; check walls for plumb and level as you go; fix and set angle beads, stop beads and corner beads; mix gypsum plaster and cement render to a workable consistency. Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough. $29 per hour, negotiable for the right hands. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
