Stitching operator — Crosby County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a stitching operator in Crosby County, Texas. Ideal candidate: • Good eyesight and steady hands for fine, accurate stitching • ITI / tailoring certificate is a plus • 2+ years on industrial sewing machines in a garment factory The role involves: • Inspect each piece for skipped stitches, broken thread and needle holes • Stitch seams, hems, side seams and shoulder joins to the marked seam allowance • Trim loose threads, clip curves and notch corners as you go • Change needles, presser feet and folders to suit the fabric and operation • Match notches and ply, lining up checks and stripes before stitching • Operate single-needle lockstitch, overlock and flatlock machines on a production line 1+ years on the tools preferred.
