Now hiring: we are hiring a flatlock machine operator in Rooks County, Kansas. The job is on an export house sewing floor. You should have: • Comfortable working long hours seated at a fast line • Good eyesight and steady hands for fine, accurate stitching Day-to-day duties: • Topstitch and edge-stitch with the correct margin for a clean finish • Press open seams or use a folder/binder attachment for bound edges • Change needles, presser feet and folders to suit the fabric and operation • Meet the hourly piece-rate target without dropping quality • Inspect each piece for skipped stitches, broken thread and needle holes • Sew bartacks and buttonholes and attach buttons where required Six days a week, one day off. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Pay around $17 per hour, based on your experience. Contact us to fix an interview.
