Vertical milling machine operator wanted in Liverpool

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a vertical milling machine operator in Liverpool, England. Your main tasks: • Mount workpieces in machine vices, clamps and fixtures and check for square • Set tool offsets and the work zero (G54) using an edge finder or probe • Machine slots, pockets, flats, keyways and contours to drawing • Load and edit CNC programs (G-code) at the Fanuc/Siemens control • Measure features with vernier callipers, micrometers and bore gauges • Carry out daily lubrication and routine machine maintenance What we are looking for: • Good eyesight and steady hands for close-tolerance work • Safety conscious and comfortable wearing PPE around moving machinery At least 3 year(s) in a similar role. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
