Argon welder • Seminole County, Florida

We are recruiting: we are hiring an argon welder in Seminole County, Florida. You will be based at a precision engineering workshop. Day-to-day duties: • Set up the argon shielding gas and check the flow rate at the regulator • Prep and fit up the joint, then lay tack welds before the full run • Set the amperage on the machine and modulate the current with the foot pedal • Inspect welds for porosity, undercut and lack of fusion You should have: • Sound knowledge of shielding gases and tungsten selection • Able to read isometric and fabrication drawings 4+ years on the tools preferred.
