Meat trimmer — Union County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a meat trimmer in Union County, New Mexico. On the job you will handle: • Run the band saw to cut cleanly through bone • Take customer orders and advise on cuts and cooking • Sharpen and hone knives on a steel and whetstone • Debone shoulders, legs and loins with a boning knife • Monitor chiller and freezer temperatures to keep the cold chain • Portion steaks, chops and cutlets to the ordered weights You should have: • Food hygiene / HACCP certificate • Comfortable working in cold rooms and chillers • Physically fit to lift carcasses and stand all day 4+ years on the tools preferred.
