Scaffolding erector — Richmond County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a scaffolding erector in Richmond County, New York. What we are looking for: • Full use of harness, lanyard and fall-arrest equipment • Awareness of TG20 and SG4 safe working practice • Good head for heights and comfortable on open platforms Day to day you will fix transoms and bracing to keep the structure square and rigid; install ladder access and ladder gates between the lifts; dismantle the scaffold in reverse sequence and lower materials safely; hoist tubes, boards and fittings up by gin wheel and rope; handle, sort and stack tubes and fittings for loading out; inspect couplers, boards and tubes for damage before use. Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough. Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
