Requirements: • Awareness of site safety, PPE and lifting procedures • Good depth perception and hand-eye coordination • Understanding of safe digging near underground services Day-to-day duties: • Load trucks with spoil, aggregate and overburden using the bucket • Keep a safe distance from excavation edges and overhead lines • Load and unload the machine on and off the low-loader safely • Grease the pins, bushings and slew ring at the start of each shift • Check for underground cables and services before digging Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough.
