Mining dozer operator • Clarke County, Mississippi

We are recruiting: we are hiring a mining dozer operator in Clarke County, Mississippi. You will be based on a quarry floor. Requirements: • Physically fit for climbing on and off the machine • Able to read grade stakes, drawings and site levels • Good understanding of cut-and-fill and batter slopes Day to day you will cut and fill ground to the levels marked on the grade stakes; work to the dig plan and the banksman's signals; operate crawler dozers to push and spread fill across the site; carry out pre-start checks on tracks, hydraulics, coolant and engine oil; rip hard ground and rock using the rear ripper shank; strip topsoil and stockpile it for later reuse.
