Sample machinist — Anderson County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a sample machinist in Anderson County, Texas. You will be based at a knitwear stitching unit. On a typical shift you will stitch seams, hems, side seams and shoulder joins to the marked seam allowance; press open seams or use a folder/binder attachment for bound edges; topstitch and edge-stitch with the correct margin for a clean finish; attach collars, cuffs, plackets, pockets and waistbands as per the spec sheet; sew bartacks and buttonholes and attach buttons where required. What we are looking for: • ITI / tailoring certificate is a plus • Can hit the daily piece-rate target consistently • Good eyesight and steady hands for fine, accurate stitching At least 6 year(s) in a similar role. Full-time with occasional weekends. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Walk-in interviews this week.
