Slinger signaller — Cherokee County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a slinger signaller in Cherokee County, Iowa. You should have: • Willing to work shifts, weekends and outdoors in all weather • Comfortable working at height and in confined spaces • Ability to read lift plans and rigging diagrams Day-to-day duties: • Select the correct slings, shackles and chains for each load's weight • Guide loads through tight openings into their final position • Establish exclusion zones and keep workers clear of the lift area • Attach wire rope and chain slings to loads using shackles and hooks • Take part in toolbox talks and pre-lift briefings Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough. Full-time with occasional weekends. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Pay around $4,500 per month, based on your experience. Walk-in interviews this week.
