Plant operator (dozer) — Hancock County

Join our team: we are hiring a plant operator (dozer) in Hancock County, Maine. You will be based at an open-cast mine. Your main tasks: • Carry out pre-start checks on tracks, hydraulics, coolant and engine oil • Grade and level subgrade for roads, pads and platforms • Cut and fill ground to the levels marked on the grade stakes • Operate crawler dozers to push and spread fill across the site • Strip topsoil and stockpile it for later reuse • Push-load motor scrapers during bulk earthmoving Ideal candidate: • Familiar with GPS and laser machine-control systems • Physically fit for climbing on and off the machine Rotating shifts.
