Now hiring: we are hiring a lathe programmer-operator in Neshoba County, Mississippi. You will work at an auto-components manufacturing unit. The role involves: • Change worn carbide inserts and monitor tool wear • Write and edit G-code programs at the control • Set up workpieces in three-jaw chucks and collets • Measure finished parts with micrometers and vernier calipers You should have: • Experience with carbide tooling and insert selection • Able to read engineering drawings and GD&T • Confident with micrometers, vernier calipers and bore gauges Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough.
