Formwork carpenter wanted in Lunenburg County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a formwork carpenter in Lunenburg County, Virginia. You will be based at a precast concrete yard. The role involves fix soldiers, walers and tie rods to resist the concrete pressure; watch the formwork during concreting and tighten up any movement; set up adjustable steel props and falsework to support the slab decking; box out openings for doors, windows and service penetrations; strike and strip the formwork once the concrete has cured. Requirements: • Physically fit for heavy lifting and long shifts • Confident working at height on scaffold and decking • Sound understanding of props, bracing and load-bearing Full-time with occasional weekends.
