Urgent requirement: conventional mill operator (Alaska)

Immediate opening: we are hiring a conventional mill operator in Kenai Peninsula Borough, Alaska. The job is in a toolroom. The role involves: • Load and edit CNC programs (G-code) at the Fanuc/Siemens control • Set spindle speeds and feed rates to suit the material and cutter • Keep in-process inspection records and log production counts • Hold close tolerances down to ±0.02 mm • Set tool offsets and the work zero (G54) using an edge finder or probe • Read engineering drawings and GD&T to plan the machining sequence What we are looking for: • Safety conscious and comfortable wearing PPE around moving machinery • Able to read engineering drawings and interpret GD&T At least 6 year(s) in a similar role.
