Great opportunity: we are hiring a bar bender and fixer in Walton County, Florida. You will work at a rebar fabrication workshop. On the job you will handle: • Read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules • Check bar diameter, spacing and cover before the pour • Assemble column and beam cages on the bench • Install chairs and bar supports to hold up the top mat • Lap and splice bars to the specified lap length Ideal candidate: • Valid site safety card and PPE (helmet, boots, gloves) • Proven experience as a steel fixer on building or civil sites Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough.
