Hand presser — McHenry County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a hand presser in McHenry County, North Dakota. The job is in a tailoring workshop. The role involves use a pressing cloth to protect delicate fabrics; keep the boiler topped up and hold steady steam pressure; hang or fold pressed garments and pass them to packing; check every piece for scorch marks, shine and water spots; clean and descale the iron soleplate and steam vents; fuse interlinings and fusible tape on the fusing press. Ideal candidate: • 1-2 years' experience pressing garments in a factory • Able to operate a steam press, vacuum table and fusing machine Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
