Vertical milling machine operator — Somerset

Now hiring: we are hiring a vertical milling machine operator in Somerset, England. You will be based in a die and mould making unit. You will carry out daily lubrication and routine machine maintenance; monitor tool wear and change blunt inserts and cutters; measure features with vernier callipers, micrometers and bore gauges; hold close tolerances down to ±0.02 mm; set up and operate vertical and horizontal milling machines. You should have: • ITI/NCVT certificate in machinist or turner trade • Experience on Fanuc/Siemens CNC controls • Safety conscious and comfortable wearing PPE around moving machinery Six days a week, one day off.
