Elevator technician • Franklin County, Virginia

Urgent requirement: we are hiring an elevator technician in Franklin County, Virginia. You will be based in a machine room on the rooftop. You should have: • Ability to read electrical and wiring schematics • Physically fit to lift heavy components and crawl in tight spaces Day to day you will wire up the controller, encoder and limit switches; fill in the service logbook and statutory inspection paperwork; rope up the traction machine and reeve the hoisting cables; mount and align landing doors, sills and car door operators.
