Fusing press operator • Rowan County, Kentucky

Vacancy available: we are hiring a fusing press operator in Rowan County, Kentucky. Day-to-day duties: • Keep the boiler topped up and hold steady steam pressure • Clean and descale the iron soleplate and steam vents • Fuse interlinings and fusible tape on the fusing press • Hang or fold pressed garments and pass them to packing • Use a pressing cloth to protect delicate fabrics • Meet the daily piece target without damaging garments What we are looking for: • Aware of steam iron safety and basic machine upkeep • Able to keep pace with line speed and piece targets • Comfortable standing long shifts in a hot, humid environment Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough.
