Cement mason wanted in Clay County

Join our team: we are hiring a cement mason in Clay County, Florida. You will work on a road and bridge project. What we are looking for: • Physically fit for heavy lifting and long hours on your feet • Willing to wear safety boots, helmet and full PPE Your main tasks: • Compact fresh concrete with immersion poker vibrators to clear honeycombing • Carry out slump tests and cast cubes for the lab • Strip and clean formwork once the concrete has gained strength • Mix concrete to the specified grade (M15, M20, M25) by hand or in a mixer • Cure slabs by ponding, wet hessian or curing compound for the required days • Give broom or steel-trowel finishes as specified Full-time with occasional weekends.
