Vacancy available: we are hiring a crane rigger in Ottawa County, Michigan. Ideal candidate: • Valid rigging / lifting certificate or banksman-slinger ticket • Able to inspect and reject defective lifting gear You will secure loads with turnbuckles, chain blocks and lever hoists; tag and quarantine any damaged or out-of-date rigging gear; guide loads through tight openings into their final position; select the correct slings, shackles and chains for each load's weight; set up spreader bars and lifting beams for long or awkward loads.
