Urgent requirement: backhoe operator (Tennessee)

Great opportunity: we are hiring a backhoe operator in Hamblen County, Tennessee. You will work on a busy civils and groundworks site. On the job you will handle: • Lift and place pipes, manholes and precast sections with the bucket and chains • Grade, level and batter slopes to the required gradient • Strip and stockpile topsoil ready for reuse • Backfill trenches and compact the fill in layers • Swap buckets and attachments — rock breaker, grab, ripper, auger • Inspect tracks, bucket teeth and pins for wear before start-up You should have: • Sound understanding of daily maintenance and greasing • Reliable, punctual and able to get to site • Physically fit for long hours in the cab on outdoor sites Full-time, day shift.
