Window glazier — Dixon County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a window glazier in Dixon County, Nebraska. You will work on site fitting windows in new-build flats. On the job you will handle: • Fuse-weld frame and sash corners on the welding machine and check the weld seam • Clean welded corners on a corner-cleaning machine and chisel off the weld flash • Install finished windows and doors, pack and anchor-fix them, then foam and silicone the perimeter • Take site measurements of openings before fabrication • Crimp glazing beads to length and snap them into the frame • Glaze the double-glazed units, set the packers and bed the glass square Requirements: • Able to read cutting lists and fabrication drawings • An eye for finish — no scratches, clean welds, flush beads • Able to work to deadlines in a busy workshop Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough.
