Restoration bricklayer wanted in Thomas County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a restoration bricklayer in Thomas County, Georgia. You will be based at a groundworks and structures site. Day to day you will cutting bricks to size with a bolster and club hammer or angle grinder; mixing mortar to the right consistency with sand, cement and plasticiser; raking out and tooling the joints to a struck or bucket-handle finish; installing damp-proof courses, lintels and cavity trays; buttering the perpends and tapping each brick down to the gauge. Requirements: • Reliable timekeeping and able to hit daily brick targets • Physically fit for lifting bricks and blocks all day Six days a week, one day off. Meals and transport allowance provided.
