The role involves: • Polish stone surfaces to a high gloss using diamond pads and polishing compound • Work from cutting lists and installation drawings • Lay marble tiles and slabs on floors, stairs and walls with adhesive mortar • Grout the joints and wipe off the excess before it sets • Measure up and template countertops and floor areas before cutting Ideal candidate: • Steady hand for edge profiling and a fine polished finish • 2+ years' experience working with marble, granite and natural stone • Able to read measurements, templates and cutting lists Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough.
