Overlocker operator wanted in Hyde County

Vacancy available: we are hiring an overlocker operator in Hyde County, North Carolina. Ideal candidate: • Understands fabric types and how to handle knits versus wovens • Can hit the daily piece-rate target consistently • Able to read a spec sheet and follow a sewing operation breakdown Day to day you will set armholes and sleeves, easing the cap so there are no puckers; keep an even stitch density (SPI) and a straight, consistent seam line; operate single-needle lockstitch, overlock and flatlock machines on a production line; match notches and ply, lining up checks and stripes before stitching. 6+ years on the tools preferred. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
