Framing carpenter — Medway

Immediate opening: we are hiring a framing carpenter in Medway, England. You will work at a shopfitting company. Ideal candidate: • Confident with hand and power tools such as saws, routers and planers • Sound knowledge of timber types, grades and fixings Day to day you will install skirting boards, architraves and dado rails; finish surfaces with varnish, wax, lacquer or wood stain; fix studwork and plasterboard partitions; hang internal and external doors, fitting hinges, locks and handles; glue, clamp, screw and dowel joints together; measure and mark out timber using a tape, square and marking gauge. Rotating shifts. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Pay around £2,750 per month, based on your experience. Apply today to start as soon as possible.
