Immediate opening: powder coating technician (Texas)

Immediate opening: we are hiring a powder coating technician in Wheeler County, Texas. You will work at a fabrication and coating plant. You should have: • Can read film thickness gauges and colour codes • Able to operate electrostatic spray guns and curing ovens • Comfortable working in a masked, ventilated booth You will mask off threads, holes and machined faces with caps and tape; top up and monitor pre-treatment chemical bath concentrations; record batch numbers, oven temperatures and coating thickness; pre-treat parts through phosphating and rinse tanks; check dry film thickness with a DFT gauge in microns. At least 5 year(s) in a similar role. Part-time with flexible hours. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. $4,400 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Walk-in interviews this week.
