Press machine operator • Highland, Scotland

Great opportunity: we are hiring a press machine operator in Highland, Scotland. You will be based at an auto-parts workshop. Day-to-day duties: • Run the first-off piece and check it against the drawing • Measure parts with vernier calliper, micrometer and go/no-go gauges • Key in cycle parameters such as speed, feed rate and temperature • Set up and start the machine as per the job card • Monitor gauges and stop the machine when readings drift What we are looking for: • Knowledge of lockout-tagout and machine safety • Able to read job cards and basic engineering drawings • ITI or diploma in fitter or machinist trade an advantage At least 5 year(s) in a similar role.
