Gantry crane operator wanted in Saint Clair County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a gantry crane operator in Saint Clair County, Michigan. Ideal candidate: • Physically fit to climb ladders and work long shifts • Valid crane operator licence or certificate (CPCS, NPORS or local equivalent) • Good depth perception and hand-eye coordination On the job you will handle: • Carry out pre-start checks on the crane, wire ropes and hook block • Help set out the lift plan and barrier off the exclusion zone • Keep a safe distance from overhead power lines • Climb and inspect the tower crane mast and tie-ins • Grease the slew ring and inspect the wire rope for broken strands • Work out the load weight and the lifting radius 2+ years on the tools preferred. Pay around $3,900 per month, based on your experience. Meals and transport allowance provided. Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
