Immediate opening: we are hiring a plant operator in Wayne County, Illinois. You will be based at a road and highway construction project. Day to day you will swap buckets and attachments — rock breaker, grab, ripper, auger; work safely around buried services with a banksman or spotter; carry out daily greasing and check hydraulic oil, coolant and fuel levels; dig and trim drainage channels and attenuation ponds. Ideal candidate: • Valid CPCS/NPORS card or local heavy-equipment licence • Physically fit for long hours in the cab on outdoor sites Rotating shifts. Overtime paid at a premium rate.
