Vacancy available: we are hiring a bricklayer in Emanuel County, Georgia. You will be based on a new-build development. Ideal candidate: • Able to lay to line, level and plumb consistently • Physically fit for lifting bricks and blocks all day • NVQ Level 2 in Bricklaying an advantage On the job you will handle: • Building the corners (leads) first and racking back the courses • Spreading and furrowing mortar beds with the trowel • Building cavity walls and bedding in wall ties and insulation • Setting out walls from the drawings and marking the brick gauge • Installing damp-proof courses, lintels and cavity trays Six days a week, one day off.
