Urgent requirement: we are hiring an offshore rigger in Gilliam County, Oregon. The job is in a heavy machinery workshop. On a typical shift you will establish exclusion zones and keep workers clear of the lift area; direct the crane operator with standard hand signals and radio; read lift plans and method statements before starting; guide loads through tight openings into their final position. You should have: • Physically fit to handle heavy chains, slings and shackles • Comfortable working at height and in confined spaces • Able to inspect and reject defective lifting gear 5+ years on the tools preferred.
