Shakeout operator — Apapa

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a shakeout operator in Apapa, Lagos State. You will work in a non-ferrous casting shop. Day-to-day duties: • Skim slag and dross off the melt before tapping and pouring • Pour molten metal into the moulds using hand or crane ladles • Melt scrap metal and ingots in induction or cupola furnaces • Operate the sand muller and the reclamation plant • Apply mould coatings and dress the mould cavity What we are looking for: • Willing to wear full PPE such as heat-resistant apron, spats and visor • Experience working in a ferrous or non-ferrous foundry 1+ years on the tools preferred.
