Urgent requirement: we are hiring a dozer operator in Stevens County, Kansas. The job is at a land-clearing site. What we are looking for: • Proven experience operating crawler dozers (D6 to D8 class) • Comfortable working long shifts in dust, heat and uneven terrain Your main tasks: • Carry out pre-start checks on tracks, hydraulics, coolant and engine oil • Cut and fill ground to the levels marked on the grade stakes • Push-load motor scrapers during bulk earthmoving • Backfill trenches and foundations once services are laid • Work to the dig plan and the banksman's signals • Strip topsoil and stockpile it for later reuse $3,000 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
