Formwork carpenter — Gwoza

Immediate opening: we are hiring a formwork carpenter in Gwoza, Borno State. The job is in a bespoke joinery workshop. Day to day you will measure and mark out timber using a tape, square and marking gauge; hang internal and external doors, fitting hinges, locks and handles; glue, clamp, screw and dowel joints together; cut mortise-and-tenon and dovetail joints with chisels and a mallet; apply edge banding, veneers and laminate to board. You should have: • Good eye for detail and a clean finish • Own basic hand tools • CSCS card for site-based work an advantage Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough.
