You should have: • ITI or trade certificate in welding an advantage • Able to pass a weld test on the spot • Comfortable working off scaffolds and in tight spaces Day to day you will grind, blend and polish finished welds to a clean finish; inspect welds visually for porosity, cracks and undercut; run butt, fillet, lap and corner joints to spec; weld thin stainless steel sheet without burning through; set the argon flow on the flowmeter and check the hose for leaks. 5+ years on the tools preferred.
